Fun fact: The month of August is named after Augustus, who was the first Emperor of Rome. He chose it because he believed the sixth month was the month of his greatest triumphs.
Now you may not be an emperor, but you can still make August a month to conquer! Take advantage of this last full month of summer by going to a drive-in with friends, or diving in to the pool. Make sure to finalize your schedule and stock up on some back to school essentials! Catch the MTV Music Video Awards on the 24th and the Emmy’s on the 25th. I’ll make my predictions the week before, followed by my thoughts on the winners and the red carpet.
July was definitely a test month for me, blog-wise, and now I think that I pretty much have my site looking the way I want it to, and I also have some great content to share and talk with you guys about!
